We are believers in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. At some time in our experience, we were convicted of our personal sins and need of salvation and accepted Him as our personal Saviour and Lord. 

A verse in the Bible says:

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
